I purchased a Liz Claiborne Top Stitch Flap bag on 12 December 2009 in Singapore and after four or five uses the buckle has self destructed. I have owned Liz Claiborne handbags previously and never experienced a problem. A bit disappointing as the bag is the perfect size and style.
The bag of golf-1009899 style works great as a sling bag. Bonus, golf-1009899 style is waterproof and seems to be dirt proof as well! The bag of golf-1009899 style does feel heavy, but not overly so and the protection is well worth the piece of mind.
