The bag of golf1012272 style works great as a sling bag. Bonus, golf1012272 style is waterproof and seems to be dirt proof as well! The bag of golf1012272 style does feel heavy, but not overly so and the protection is well worth the piece of mind.
A cute bag but much bigger than I expected - and the gray (taupe) color was a little darker and off-color than in it appears in the picture (I think it's nicer in the pic). Ultimately, I returned it.
